Talking Heads

The Talking Heads started much of what we call New Wave/Post Punk. They remain one of my favorite bands of all time.

B52's

The B52's have to be my favorite of my favorites when it comes to New Wave. I saw them in concert in California.

Psychedelic Furs

Another of my favorites from the 1980s. I saw them in concert in 1985.

Hot Child In The City

This borders on New Wave, but not quite there. Anyway, I loved this song back in high school.

Modern English

One hit wonder: I Melt With You, by Modern English.

Bow Wow Wow

Bow Wow Wow was one of my favorite bands back in 1980. I wanted this chick.

This next song is too un-politically correct to be accepted today.

Adam and The Ants

I actually saw Adam and the Ants in concert twice, back around 1981. We had second row seats. I remember all of the girls taking off their panties and throwing them to him. Adam is manic depressive. That makes me like him all the more.
