Marie-Jo Thério

"Marie-Jo" is an Acadienne from New Brunswick (where some of my ancestors are from). Some of her works feature "franglais", a code-switching mixture of French and English. I love code-switching linguistic zones (at least from a linguistic point of view). One of the two things I loved most about Miami as Spanglish. We still speak Spanglish at home (it's the language of my little family of three). (The other thing I liked about Miami was topless women).

Moncton is a unique place. I've never been anywhere like it.
